Maybe you would prefer more indoor activities like the theater or shopping. Detroit has some of the best and biggest malls around. Detroit is more than just auto industry, it is where the mecca of arts and entertainment are happening in the eastern side of the country. Detroit probably ranks third next to New York and Chicago for the trendier crowd.
