But South America travel remains extremely popular, and many people will be planning an exciting trip to this diverse area. This article looks at the reasons why someone might take a journey to this part of the world.

Brazil is a flamboyant, colourful nation, that has attracted visitors for many decades. The warm climate and range of thrilling landscapes mean that people from all walks of life have journeyed here. With the Pacific Ocean on its western side, Chile occupies a strip of land from the southern tip of South America right up to the border of Brazil. The land is famous for its Incan heritage, as well as the formidable mountains which occupy so much of its bulk. There is a great deal of history to be enjoyed here, which is one of the principal reasons why it remains a top destination for travellers across the globe.

South America travel offers a range of landscapes and cities to explore - and with such a great deal of variety it seems to attract a broad range of peoples of different ages.
