Should I Buy Photos On Facebook?

Why anyone would buy photos to put onto their Facebook profile is beyond reckoning. It is a free site that allows people to share stories, find friends or simply blog about their day.

If you are new to Facebook or its competitor MySpace, then you may have a few questions when it comes to handling your profile and making it unique. A little knowledge about how Facebook works will go a long way to creating your perfect profile for other members to view.

Do not buy photos. Your Facebook albums can be filled with whatever pictures you want. The hardest part of the entire process will be sending the pictures from your camera to your computer and then uploading them onto the site. There are some specific steps that you go through in order to upload pictures onto your profile and into your albums.

The first hurdle you must cross is the Facebook login. Once you have logged in it is time to go to your account and find the update account information. This is the place where you put in your personal information. There is a section devoted to creating albums and uploading pictures.

If you need help, then simply click the help photos link. Facebook will provide you with step-by-step instructions on creating your albums and will have a section devoted to uploading photos into these albums. There is a maximum number of photos you can put in one album (it is sixty) but you can create as many albums as you wish.

The profile Facebook allows you to create can be whatever you want to make of it. Upload your family vacation pictures into the Facebook album pages and you can share stories about your adventures with your friends. Having a picture on your profile page is a great way for you to find friends and have them find you as well.

It definitely beats the generic picture that all users have when they first create a profile. If you want to keep some of your photos private, then there is an option for that as well. So you let people see what you want them to see. How easy is that?

There are a few instances where you do buy photos that eventually wind up on your Facebook profile. You may need a photo lab to print off your pictures onto a disc which would cost you money. You could also be purchasing pictures that are copyrighted by your favorite photographer.

But those are generally the only two cases that it would be acceptable to purchase photographs. Once you have your photos assembled, it is time to upload and create albums for your friends and family to enjoy as they browse your profile on Facebook.
