Stretch Marks - Remove Them Quickly and Easily

The most common problem of men and women today is how to get rid of stretch marks. These are some unsightly purplish or reddish marks that appear on the skin because of various means. For one, they can start with some physical and hormonal changes that occur in the body. Adolescents undergo drastic changes because of their rapid growth, and this can eventually stretch the skin to the point that the dermis loses its form, eventually near to the point of breaking down. On the other hand, women may also develop some of these unsightly marks because their skin has rapidly stretched during the course of their pregnancy. The use of steroids may also cause a hormonal imbalance which may damage the dermis too.

There are some ways on how to minimize the appearances of stretch marks, if not remove them completely from your skin. First, there are various creams, lotions or ointments which are specifically made to lighten these marks on your skin. They can be obtained through prescriptions from dermatologists, but some of them can be purchased over the counter. If you want to have a cheaper way of getting rid of stretch marks, you can always settle for the natural means of doing so. You can make homemade formulas which can well replace the creams or lotions which are offered in the drugstores. One tip is to massage the affected area with Vitamin E oil or cocoa butter. These will moisturize your skin and lighten the scars caused by the stretch marks. Another home made idea is to mix half a cup of virgin olive oil, one-fourth cup of aloe vera gel, and a mixture of six capsules of vitamin E and four capsules of vitamin A. What you have to do is to mix these ingredients in a blender. Store the concoction on a jar and put it in a refrigerator. After the mixture has been cooled, apply the oil to the part of your skin where the stretch mark has been forming.

If you want to be flawless as much as celebrities are, there is no better way to get rid of stretch marks than by undergoing some forms of surgery. The most common ones which get rid of these marks are laser treatments and cosmetic surgery. With a laser treatment, there would be chances that the patient will experience a bearable amount of pain as the scars are being removed. A painful way in removing those stretch marks is by cosmetic surgery. In this method, the doctor will cut off the skin with the stretch mark and pull the remaining skin. A tummy tuck, for example, is removing the skin with the stretch mark in the abdominal area. This can cause a great deal of pain, and not to mention, money.

These unsightly marks can be quite a big problem whenever you want to show your perfect figure. Avoid having these marks in the first place by maintaining a proper diet and good exercise.
