What Are the Importance of Wedding Invitation

Wedding ceremony is a very special event in the life of all men and women. Marriage is not only a social dignity but is actually a divine relationship of a man with a woman and vice versa. People of different countries have respective cultures. Thus they celebrate wedding ceremony in separate manner. But one of the common features of the wedding ceremony of the people of different cultures is inviting guests on the auspicious day of the ceremony and to bless the new couple.

Traditionally, the Hindus perform religious sacrifice on the auspicious day. Normally, the ceremony takes place in the evening. Again, according to the Christian tradition marriage ceremony takes place in a church. In that case, on the day before all the invitees gather in the church for a rehearsal so that no blunder may occur on the actual day of the event. All the expenses of the marriage ceremony may be shared by the couple as well as their family members.

However, the guests cannot be called all of a sudden. Certain arrangements must be made before inviting them. The date, venue, time etc must be fixed. They are mostly fixed according to the wishes of the couple only after taking the views of all the invitees. At present, both printable and handmade invitation cards are available in the market. The choice of the invitation cards depend on the certain factors such as material, ink used and number of words to be written.

At first the guests list must be prepared. Then all other homework should be done accordingly. It is to be noted that, people of different religious communities follow separate style of invitation. However, the important information that must be provided in a wedding invitation are as follow.

Name of the parents of groom
The message of the ceremony and inviting them along with their children on the auspicious day.
Name of the bride and the groom
Date, time and venue of the ceremony.
Date, time and venue of the reception.
